30 years at 64 Broadway Market ❤️
The birthday of East London’s original health and wellbeing destination.
Allow me to set the scene. It’s a warm day, the sun is shining and Killing Me Softly by the Fugees is playing on the radio as the UK’s current chart-topper. We’re back in 1996, the 4th of June to be precise, on the day our clinic first flung open the doors to Broadway Market.
A lot has changed in 3 decades…
We’ve watched neighbours come and go, we’ve seen fashions change, the Lido get developed into what it is today, the market evolve into a street food mecca. Inside the clinic, we’ve brought on and bid farewell to practitioners, and offered at least 40 different treatment modalities, some more niche than others…
The shopfront has been made over and under more times than we can count on one hand, and despite closing our doors for a brief and mandatory period in 2020, against all the odds we are still here! Just this year we’ve changed the business name to ‘Hackney Podiatry & Health’, instead of ‘Holistic Health’.

So today while we celebrate our little plot and its sticking power, we also want to thank you, our patients, clients and community. THANK YOU for supporting us and trusting us with your care. You’re the reason we’re here, and it’s a joy to welcome every one of you.
