What do Podiatrists do to unwind?

It’s October half term and I’m enjoying a week away in Swanage with my girls, my husband, and our sausage dogs…

A brisk beach walk, fresh sea air, and quality time with loved ones are essential for recharging. We are getting the miles in while the sun shines with some glorious hikes of the Jurassic Coast.

As a Podiatrist, when my patients ask if they should limit their activity, my answer is always the same: “It’s my job to keep you moving.” At Holistic Health we practice what we preach – I love a hike and a bike ride, and my associate Podiatrist Conn is a keen marathoner!

The days after the clock change can feel strange, but they are a great time to commit to small changes for the months ahead. Looking after yourself right now might not look like a week hiking at the beach, but it could be a morning walk in the park – morning sunlight at this time of year is crucial for Vitamin D synthesis – or working from a café for a couple of hours to fight the urge to hibernate (and save on heating costs.) There are all sorts of free or cheap ways to keep some pep in your step this season.
At Holistic Health, my team of talented practitioners will hold space to support you if:

The colder weather is flaring up your aches and pains…
Darker evenings have you feeling drained….
You’re sleeping poorly, or struggling to get out of bed….

Book in for Podiatry, Massage Therapy, Osteopathy, Reflexology, Colonic Hydrotherapy, Acupuncture, Vitamin B12 injections, and many more treatments.
